In the Light of the Cross

In the light of the Cross, I make my way through a darkened world. I journey to a city I have never yet seen, but of which I am already a citizen. I seek a kingdom that has come, but is not here yet here, a bright tomorrow which can yet be glimpsed today even through the darkness of the hour that is currently at hand.

"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing to with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God" (Rom. 8: 18-19).
